The basic Standard of Care (S.O.C) includes routine vaccination, deworm, tick prevention, and desexing surgery.
How often should I deworm my new pet?Giving deworming treatment to your pet is an excellent preventive measure against intestinal parasites. It is a safe, straightforward, and side-effect-free procedure. As part of their routine care, most dogs and cats are dewormed every 3 months. To determine the optimal timing for your puppy or kitten's initial deworming visit, Island Vet team can provide guidance and assistance.
Does my pet need a rabies vaccination?Rabies is a severe disease that poses a fatal risk to both humans and animals. In Indonesia, especially Bali island, the rabies vaccination is mandated by law. While it is generally recommended to have your pet vaccinated annually, the necessity may vary for dogs and cats under six months old. If you are uncertain whether your pet requires the rabies shot, it is advisable to consult with our veterinarian team for guidance and clarification.
Is my pet too old to be spayed?If your pet has reached at least six months of age*, it is likely to have a longer lifespan if spayed. However, there are various factors to consider whether or not to proceed with the spaying procedure before the optimal time. Our Island Vet team can guide you in selecting the most appropriate timing for getting your pet spayed, taking into account your pet's specific circumstances and needs. *for Bali Dog breed.
